Dr. Jacobs was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State.  While at Penn State he met his future wife, Amy, who is from outside of Philipsburg. After Dr. Jacobs graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, he and Amy moved to St. Louis, MO. They welcomed their first son, Jonah, in late 2020. Dr. Jacobs and his wife decided to pack up their dog and two cats and move back to the area to raise their son.

Dr. Jacobs' practice philosophy is treating his patients as if they were his family. He is excited to join Dr. Miller, Dr. Catherman, and the rest of the team at Bellefonte Family Dentistry and to become a part of the Bellefonte community.

Outside the office, Dr. Jacobs stays physically active with family trips to the local parks, traveling, and adventures with his wife. Their biggest adventures so far have been climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and completing the Sharkfest Swim, which involved swimming almost 2 miles across the San Francisco Bay from Alcatraz Island. Fortunately, they did not see any sharks. Dr. Jacobs hopes to one day complete a triathlon.
